Welcome to BEAMS!
This is the official website of the BioEngineering at McMaster Society - The student-run society designed to serve and represent students currently in, or interested in a BioEngineering program at McMaster University.
This website is your go-to resource for information regarding upcoming events held by BEAMS. Throughout the year, BEAMS holds formal and informal events to help you in meeting other students in BioEngineering, and exploring opportunities for students in this field.
How to Join
Anyone can join BEAMS! You do not have to currently be in a BioEngineering program to be a part of BEAMS events. For example, if you are a first year engineering student interested in learning more about BioEngineering or meeting upper year students, you can attend BEAMS events!
There are NO Mandatory Commitments. There are no weekly meetings (unless you are on the executive committee), and you can attend as many or as few events as you wish. Don't be afraid to come out to a BEAMS event, even if you have never attended a BEAMS event before - you are sure to meet new people and make new friends!
How to Stay Updated
